Howard L TurnerPrivate First Class Howard L. Turner, United States Army, 7th Infantry Regiment, 3rd Infantry Division “Rock of the Marne”. Howard L. Turner was born on February 9, 1928 to the parents, Edward and Ethel Turner. He was raised near the town of Severn Maryland. PFC Turner was Killed in Action while fighting the enemy in South Korea on March 31, 1951. Ethel Turner entitled the post with authority to use her son’s name and also presented the post with the United States Burial Flag that draped Howard’s casket during his funeral and military honors.
