Welcome To Howard L. Turner Post 276 Website

Founded in 1956, The Howard L. Turner Post 276 of the American Legion is located in Severn Maryland. The post was named after Private First Class Howard L. Turner raised near the town of Severn Maryland. PFC Turner was Killed in Action while fighting the enemy in South Korea on March 31, 1951.

    If you are currently on active duty, serving the United States honorably, or have served honorably during any of the eligible war eras, we invite you to become a member of The American Legion Post 276.

  • Children's Easter Egg Hunt and Breakfast with The Easter Bunny 
    Join us on Saturday March 24th at Post 276 from 11am 'til 2pm for our annual Breakfast with The Easter Bunny.  Admission: Non-Parishable Food for the Food Bank.  Fun for all Children!
