Legion Electric Coop
The American Legion Electric Coop is now in business. Initial sign-ups were conducted at Post 7 the first of February. Sign-up will be conducted at Post 276 on 20 and 21 February from 11AM to 4PM each day. To particiapte please bring along a current (2009) membership card and a copy of your utility bill. Stop by and find out how much the program can save you. Once you have the information you can decide whether or not to participate.
From my personal perspective this is a good deal. I locked in a rate for three years which is approximately a penny per KWH cheaper than my current rates. I expect rates to increase over the next year or so and realize even more savings. (Hope I am right).
